Cauldon Place / Canalside is a privately owned Care Home , that provides medium to long term Residential and Social Care for up to 21 adults with a diagnosed Learning Disability and possible associated Complex Needs.
The home caters for Service User’s aged 18 to 60 on admission. The current Service User group is of mixed sex, aged between 20 – 49.
Cauldon Place comprises 3 independent flats for up to 5 adults.
Each flat is self contained, having shared lounge, kitchen/diner, 2 toilets, 2 shower rooms, 1 bathroom, plus a staff office/sleep-in facility.
The unit is registered for up to a maximum of 15 Service User’s.
Canalside is part of Cauldon Place and is supported by the same management team, serving a similar client group.
This facility comprises, 4 independent flats, each providing for 1-2 adults, according to individual needs and compatibility, also, recognising the need for some individuals to live on their own.
Each flat has 2 bedrooms, together with a shared lounge, kitchen/diner, toilet and bath or shower room.
The unit is registered for up to a maximum of 6 Service User’s.
Cauldon Place & Canalside share laundry and ancillary services, located on the ground floor of the home.
Each flat in the home is co-ordinated by a Senior Support Worker/Home Co-Ordinator, supported by a dedicated core staff team.
The home is staffed flexibly over a 24 hour period based upon the needs of the Service User group.
